Since 1991, the Northeast Tennessee Economic Development Corporation (NETEDC) continues to promote economic development by providing gap financing for local businesses within the eight-county region. By assisting businesses with long-term fixed asset financings such as land, building, machinery and equipment, and permanent working capital, the Northeast Tennessee Economic Development Corporation has seen 703 jobs created to date, 120 businesses served and over $8 million dollars in loans.

With an "A" program rating risk from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA), businesses will feel secure in knowing their business loan needs will be met with integrity. The Northeast Tennessee Economic Development Corporation partners with local lending entities that understand the role small and mid-size businesses play in regional economic development.
